The Stedoco girls football academy has been on a 5 day winterbreak trainingcamp to Santa Susanna in Spain. Santa Susanna is located approximately 45 minutes drive from Barcelona. The trip was a tremendous success especially for the girls and coaches but also for the parents acompanying their children. Besides many training session and a match the group also visited Camp Nou, stadium of FC Barcelona, currently the best team in the world.

The highlight of the tour was a match versus the U14 team of FC Barcelona. It was an absolute unique experience to play against the best girls of Spain. This team played according to the same game philosofy as Messi, Xavi, Iniesta show us almost everyweek. The match (4x18 minutes) was 7v7 instead of 11v11. And it was the first time for Stedoco to play this system of play. In Spain it is more common to play 7v7. It requires more technical skills which obviously was in favor of FC Barcelona. It took time to get accustomed to this style of play and thats why the final result was 6-0 for FC Barcelona. This was not bad at all as Fc Barcelona normally wins with double figures in their own league. Also the FC Barcelona coaches were happy with Stedoco as opponent.
